“I’m really excited to be back at Boroughmuir this season. The ambition of the club is clear and I’m looking forward to contributing however I can.”

Upon securing Rennie’s services, Head Coach Andy Enwood said: “Beth is returning to Boroughmuir (after being on loan 2023/24) with a number of huge improvements to her game.

“Beth is an SWPL 1-level goalkeeper with an outstanding attitude to self-improvement. We are all delighted Beth chose Boroughmuir for the season ahead and we are all looking forward to working with her again.”

Carys Grieve

Carys Grieve joins Thistle from Eastern Illinois College in the United States and is ready to get going despite joining slightly later. The 21-year-old central midfielder was previously part of the Hibernian Academy, spending most of her youth career with the Hibees.

Upon signing for Boroughmuir, Grieve said: “I am super excited to be joining Boroughmuir! I can’t wait for the season ahead with my new teammates.”

Andy Enwood commented: “Carys is without doubt our 'bonus find'! Coming late onto the recruitment radar during pre-season, Carys has integrated herself with ease both on and off the park.

“Carys' athleticism and power allow her to play a number of positions and very quickly she has shown she will be an extremely important member of the squad for the season ahead.”

Imogen Lang

Winger Imogen Lang joins the club from Hibernian’s Next Gen squad having been there from 2021 to 2025. The 17-year-old has also played for Tranent Colts Boys (2013-2023) and Musselburgh Windsor Girls for six months in 2021. Upon signing for Thistle, Lang says she’s eager to get started.

“I am delighted to sign for Boroughmuir Thistle, and I’m looking forward to seeing what this season brings”, she said.

Andy Enwood commented: “Imogen joins us after leaving Hibs U17s. The enthusiasm and willingness to work that Imogen displays in training and games correlates directly with how we approach the game at Boroughmuir.

“Imogen has a youthful, direct approach to playing football and we are looking forward to helping her improve in her first season at 1st team level.”

Lucie Livie

Lucy Livie joins Boroughmuir on a season-long loan from Glasgow Rangers. The 17-year-old winger impressively has two caps for Scotland U16s and has previously turned out for Murieston United.

Upon signing, Livie said: “I’m looking forward to the season ahead with the club and I’m ready to do what I can on the pitch to help bring us success.”

Andy Enwood added: “Lucy joins us on loan from Rangers for the season. In the short space of time working together, I have been extremely impressed with Lucy's decision making and composure on the ball.

“Even more so is her ability to take on information quickly and execute successfully. Lucy is another young player in her first season at 1st team level who we are looking forward to working with and improving.”

Ava Whitson

Striker Ava Whitson joins the club on loan from Hibernian after previously enjoying a loan spell at fellow SWPL 2 side, Livingston. As the 17-year-old continues to take her first steps into the senior game, she says she can’t wait to get going.

“I’m really looking forward to the upcoming season with Boroughmuir and I’m looking to gain some valuable experience in the women's game”, Whitson commented.

Andy Enwood added: “Ava joins us on loan from Hibs for the season. A young player I have worked with before, as soon as I knew Ava was available to take on loan we pushed hard to secure her.

“Ava has a number of raw materials that give her the chance to develop into a very good football player and also play at SWPL2 level already. Like the rest of our young players, we look forward to helping Ava improve.”

Ami Robertson

Ami Robertson joins Boroughmuir with bags of prior experience in this league. Joint top SWPL 2 goalscorer in 2022/23 whilst at Queen’s Park, the striker is a product of both Celtic’s and Rangers’ academies. The 20-year-old has since turned out for Gartcairn, Hamilton, and the aforementioned Spiders since stepping into the senior game.

Now a Thistle player, Robertson said: “After speaking with Andy, listening to everything he had to say, and seeing how supported everyone is, my decision was really easy. We are similar in what we want to achieve and I’m looking forward to the season!”

Andy Enwood said: “Securing Ami is a huge signing for Boroughmuir going forward. Ami is a natural goal scorer who has proven she can finish in a multitude of scenarios.

“Ami has a hunger and focus to win which matches our mentality and direction for the season ahead. We are delighted to have Ami in our ranks for the challenges ahead.”

Ashley Elizabeth

Striker Ashley Elizabeth will be a familiar name for Thistle supporters as she joins from Livingston. The 30-year-old began her career with Fernieside Boys Club before moving onto Hibs Girls and up to the women’s game from there. She joins the club having turned out for a number of teams throughout her career.

After securing Elizabeth’s signature, Andy Enwood said: “Ashley is someone we have tried to bring in for a number of seasons now.

“Ashley is a proven penalty box goalscorer and, in my opinion, one of the best finishers currently in SWPL 2. We are extremely happy to have secured Ashley and we look forward to her helping us push towards our objectives for the season.”

Leah Sidey

Leah Sidey joins the club from St Johnstone having also turned out for Dundee United and Spartans. The 20-year-old can play at either left back or as a left midfielder, and links up with Andy Enwood’s side ready to hit the ground running.

Andy Enwood said: “Leah has been a long term target for us, specifically to add competition in our left back position. Having now worked with Leah for 4 weeks, I have seen, live, the outstanding work ethic, willingness to learn, and winning mentality that she brings. These attributes will be a huge positive on the entire squad.”

Emily Reid

A familiar face from last season for supporters, Emily Reid officially makes the step up to the Boroughmuir first team ahead of Season 2025/26.

Andy Enwood said: “Emily steps up from our U17 side with a number of 1st team appearances already under her belt.

“Having worked with Emily for a number of seasons, I am extremely excited to see her deliver at SWPL 2 level on a consistent basis and carry on the upward trajectory she has been on over the last few seasons.”
