The opposition

Rossvale currently sit second bottom (7th) in SWPL 2 with 12 points from their 22 league matches. They sit one point ahead of Ayr United at the foot of the table and 30 points behind third-placed Boroughmuir.

Just three wins, three draws, and 16 defeats in the league - alongside early exits in both cup competitions - have made it a difficult maiden season in the second tier for Rossvale who won the SWF Championship last season.

Without a win since mid-November, Rossvale come into this one off the back of three straight defeats by two goals or more. However, they could prove a tough nut to crack for Boroughmuir as they desperately seek points to pull away from Ayr in the automatic relegation spot.

Previous meetings

As mentioned, Sunday marks the fifth meeting of the two sides so far this season - four in SWPL 2 and a Sky Sports Cup encounter in September.

Boroughmuir have won all four previous matches, most recently running out 2-0 victors at the Kirkintilloch Community Sports Complex on 5th February. Thistle have put nine goals past Rossvale and conceded only one as they look to extend their dominance in this fixture on Sunday.
