Team news
Last week’s emphatic victory saw seven goals scored by five different scorers, all of whom were new summer signings making their competitive debuts.
The game also allowed certain players to gain valuable minutes on the pitch as they look to regain match sharpness for the new season.
The squad are raring to go once again after a good week of training, with those recovering from injury edging ever closer to a return to the pitch.
The opposition
Livingston come into this one off the back of a 6-2 away defeat at the hands of Hamilton last Sunday, so will be looking to bounce back with a strong performance in front of a home crowd.
The Lions have strengthened their squad in a number of areas over the summer, including by signing Summer Laird and Mia McArthur on loan from SWPL 1 side Rangers, and securing the signatures of Mya Goodman and Briony Morgan from Spartans and Hearts respectively.
Last season
Livingston finished in third place last season with 47 points; just one position and seven points higher than Boroughmuir.
Livi did not, however, manage to beat Boroughmuir during the course of the previous campaign, with a Thistle away win and three draws proving there’s not much between the two sides.
