Boroughmuir Thistle return to Meadowbank Stadium on Sunday afternoon when Hamilton Academical come calling on SWPL 2 matchday three.
After a disappointing loss in Livingston last weekend, Thistle are looking to put things right and get back to winning ways in front of a home crowd.

The opposition
One of three new teams in SWPL 2 for 2024/25, Hamilton were relegated from SWPL 1 after finishing 12th in the last campaign.
However, they have gotten off to the perfect start this season with two comfortable victories - defeating Livingston by six goals to two at New Douglas Park on matchday one before registering a 7-1 win over Ayr United last weekend.
A number of new summer signings - including three loans from Rangers and two from Celtic - have been brought in to strengthen the Accies squad as they look to gain promotion at the first time of asking, and Boroughmuir will know they’re in for a tough test on Sunday.
Previous meetings
Boroughmuir and Hamilton have come up against each other seven times since 2008, but only twice in the last four years.
Hamilton slightly edge the head-to-head comparison, with three victories to Boroughmuir’s two.
There have also been two draws, including last time out when it finished 1-1 at Meggetland in June 2021.
