Parrish pens permanent Thistle contract

In what is our eighth new signing of the window, we are excited to announce that winger Leni Parrish has agreed to join the club on a permanent deal!

The 17-year-old is making the step up from academy to first team football as she joins Andy Enwood’s side from Heart of Midlothian’s youth system.

The attacker began her career playing for Blue Brazil Boys’ Club between 2012 and 2017 before trading Cowdenbeath for Kirkcaldy and signing for Raith Rovers.

After two years with The Rovers, Parrish joined Hearts and enjoyed a hugely successful five-year spell.

She was part of the U16 treble-winning side in season 2022/23 and also tasted national success in 2023/24 when her U18 side lifted the Scottish Cup.

On signing for Boroughmuir, Parrish commented: “I am delighted to have signed for Boroughmuir and I’m excited about the season ahead as I progress from academy to senior football.”

Head Coach Andy Enwood also spoke highly of the youngster following the completion of the deal:

“What stands out about Leni is that, for a 17-year-old, she has not signed with Boroughmuir to sit in the background.

“Leni has a level of self confidence and instinct to attack and take players on regardless of age/experience.

“We look forward to helping Leni progress with her positioning and decision making to maximise the technical quality she undoubtedly has.”
