Eve Donald joins Boroughmuir Thistle
Boroughmuir Thistle are delighted to welcome Defender Eve Donald, who will wear the number 3 shirt as she begins a new challenge with the club. Eve is excited to get started and is looking forward to joining a squad with plenty of ambition.
“I feel really happy. It’s a new challenge for me, but one I’m really excited about. Everyone here has so much ambition, which I love, so I’m happy to be here.”
Having faced Boroughmuir in previous seasons, Eve knows what makes the team such a tough opponent.
“The togetherness of the team is a big thing you notice when coming up against them, but also just the quality within the team. You know you’re in for a tough game and a fight when you come up against Boroughmuir.”
Now part of the squad herself, Eve is ready to bring her experience, leadership and fresh energy both on and off the pitch.
“I think just adding to the quality that’s already within the squad, bringing some fresh energy and bringing my experience and leadership qualities from previous to help the team out as much as I can, on and off the pitch.”
Describing herself as “aggressive, vocal and hard working”, Eve is looking forward to bringing her defensive qualities to the team.
