Aria Moore today becomes Boroughmuir Thistle’s 11th new signing of the summer window after the defender agreed a permanent contract with the club!
The 18-year-old predominantly plays at centre half and has joined the Meadowbank side from SWPL 1 club Celtic.
Moore’s pre-season has been punctuated by injury but will - alongside a number of our other new signings - strengthen the team’s core when she regains match fitness.
The defender spent three seasons in Heart of Midlothian’s academy before making the move to Celtic.
She played in Celtic’s academy for one season before making the step up to senior football with the Hoops last campaign.
On signing for Boroughmuir, Moore said: “I am very excited for the season ahead. I know there will be lots of hard work to be put in and I can't wait to get started.”
Head Coach Andy Enwood also commented: “Aria has had very little game time in pre-season, due to injury, notwithstanding I have seen enough to know she has a number of qualities that will ensure she contributes to the squad’s work this year.
“We are looking forward to supporting Aria's development over the coming season.”
